Reasons to Replace Breast Implants
There are aesthetic and medical reasons to replace breast implants. An exchange may be beneficial if you are unhappy with the way your breasts look or if you are experiencing a problem with your implants. The procedure is often combined with a breast lift to maintain an elevated breast profile after implant removal.
Consider breast implant exchange any of the following statements apply to your situation:
- You want to change the size of your breast implants.
- You want to change the material of your breast implants.
- You are experiencing visible or palpable implant rippling.
- Your implant has ruptured or deflated. These concerns are obvious with saline implants, though difficult to detect with silicone ones.
