What is ALCL?

Anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL) is not breast cancer; it is a very rare lymphoma. ALCL has been associated with an incredibly small percentage of textured breast implants used during breast augmentation or reconstruction. Recently, there has been an increase in public discussion surrounding this concern and the potential impetuous for breast implant removal.

In this video, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Jeremy Williams explains ALCL, discusses the vast amount of research surrounding the condition, and emphasizes the importance of working with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can provide you with up-to-date information.
