How the Simple Design of the Keller Funnel Works
Designed for surgeons by a surgeon, the Keller Funnel 2 allows the surgeon to place the implant into the surgical pocket with less friction than traditional methods. Its simple design is composed of a flexible, clear polymeric film that is surfaced with a hydrophilic coating, which becomes exceptionally slippery when submerged in a sterile solution.
The Keller Funnel’s cone shape allows the breast implant to slip easily into the surgical pocket for precise implant placement. The surgeon can completely visualize and control the delivery of the implant. In a four-step process, the surgeon prepares and uses the Keller Funnel to gently slide the implant into place.
