TRANSCRIPT: When a patient comes to Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery for a breast cancer consultation, there are three major decisions that we work through each patient. The first decision is, “Do I ever get reconstructed?” For the vast majority of women, the answer is yes. And then we discuss the types of reconstruction. The most common would be an implant-based reconstruction, and the second technique would be using part of your own body. There are multiple locations from which you can harvest tissue or borrow tissue to reconstruct breasts. And that’s a nice conversation to have with your surgeon. I’m Dr. Christopher Williams, board-certified plastic surgeon at Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery. If you have any questions, you can call our office at 303-706-1100 or visit our website at parkmeadowscosmeticsurgery.com.
