Warranty for MENTOR® MemoryGel® and Mentor® MemoryShape® Breast Implants
At Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery, all recipients of Mentor® MemoryGel® or Mentor® MemoryShape® implants are automatically enrolled in the implant manufacturer's lifetime product replacement program. Under this policy, you will be eligible for up to two replacement breast implants of any size, in the same style, if your breast implant ruptures. You may also elect to change the breast implant style, but you will have to pay the difference if it is a more expensive style than you had previously.
Mentor® is the first company to offer women a limited warranty on all of their breast implants, in addition to the specific warranty offered for their silicone gel breast implants.
Mentor® Base Warranty and Mentor® Enhanced Warranty
Mentor® offers two type of warranties: the base warranty and an enhanced warranty that comes at an additional cost. If you would like more in-depth details regarding the differences between these two policies, please see the Mentor® brochure or call our office to speak with a Patient Care Coordinator about your eligibility. The warranties cover Mentor® MemoryGel® and Mentor® MemoryShape® silicone implants placed on or after October 6, 2014 in the US. The enhanced warranty is an option for patients having Mentor® breast implants placed for the first time.
