Board-Certified Plastic Surgeons Serving Denver & Lone Tree, Colorado
Transcript: Our patients who present to us with gynecomastia like to know what to expect after surgery. So, we discuss the fact that we have an outpatient surgery, that’s day surgery, you go home that day to recover in your house. All of our patients will wear a compression garment for about four weeks, and then we slowly transition you back to exercise and normal activities. Narcotic pain medication may or not be required, but it’s usually stopped by approximately two to three days. Other medications, such as Tylenol and anti-inflammatories, can be very helpful. But the recovery can be quite smooth with very limited complications and a quick recovery. I’m Dr. Christopher Williams, a board-certified plastic surgeon at Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery. If you have any questions about gynecomastia, please call our office at 303-706-1100 or visit our website at parkmeadowscosmeticsurgery.com.
