Park Meadows Cosmetic Surgery is honored to be an official sponsor of MountainChild's Run for Hope 5k, an Event for Nepal. The run/walk is open to anyone who wants to enter – families with kids, adults, serious runners, everybody! Please see the 5K flyer for details, which include:
- Saturday June 20, 8am
- Fully paved out-and-back starting at Cherry Creek trail at Stroh Ranch Park in Parker, CO
- Fully supported race with awards by age group
If you enter the race, 100 percent of your entry fee will go to MountainChild, whose active mission is to raise awareness, resources and financial aid to support humanitarian work for impoverished children in the Himalayas. If you want to race, the fee is $30 for pre-registration and $35 to register the day of the race. The entry fee includes a t-shirt, group awards and full race support. Buy tickets today. You can also support MountainChild and the 5K in other ways, by volunteering or making a donation, for example.
After the cataclysmic earthquakes that killed over 9,000 people in Nepal, many of us watched the news wishing we could do something to help. Nepalese school children are just now beginning to return to their classrooms and studies. With this 5K, you can do your part to support Nepal's impoverished children. It's a great cause, and it's a great way to get into the swing of 5K season in Colorado.
