What is Restylane®?
Restylane® is made of non-animal based hyaluronic acid which is a natural substance found in the human body that provides the skin volume and fullness.

How is Restylane® administered?
Our surgeons perform all Restylane® treatments. We use blocking techniques to provide maximum comfort to our patients. It is administered through a series of injections placed directly into the skin. An ultra fine needle is used to inject the crystal-clear gel into the skin where wrinkles and folds are evident.

Is Restylane® safe?
Yes, Restylane® treatments are safe and effective in the treatment of wrinkles and folds and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have approved it for this purpose. Restylane® is biodegradable and completely biocompatible in the human body, therefore, pre-treatment allergy testing is not usually necessary.

How long does it last?
When properly dosed Restylane® typically lasts 6 months. It is recommended to schedule regular treatments twice yearly.
