Oral Surgeries
Temporomandibular Joint Surgery:
Not all problems in the TMJ must be treated by surgery. Many times splint therapy and physical therapy can make significant improvement so that surgery can be avoided. The main purpose of surgery is to repair the disc inside the joint to restore more normal, pain-free function. To learn more click on the TMJ link.
Dental Implant Surgery:
Implants offer a way to replace missing teeth, so that the problems associated with partial dentures and full dentures can be avoided. Implants can be used to replace single teeth or entire arches of teeth.
Wisdom Tooth Surgery:
Wisdom teeth, or third molars, are often impacted or blocked by other teeth or bone from erupting into position. Removal of the wisdom teeth is easiest in the mid-to late-teenage years, before the teeth are fully formed. Most patients prefer to be sedated for this operation.
